Ensuring everything runs smoothly

Corporate Support Unit: We have two primary functions. Firstly we provide administrative support to the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners, and the Chief Operating Officer. Secondly we are responsible for supporting the ICO’s corporate governance. This involves providing the secretariat for the Management Board and other corporate committees, and ensuring that business planning, risk management and internal audit happen. We also act as a focal point for contact for corporate governance issues and parliamentary questions from the Ministry of Justice on corporate issues and parliamentary questions.

Facilities Team: We provide those all important services that ensure everything runs smoothly across all areas of the organisation.

As well as providing a first class maintenance service, dealing with requests and identifying future maintenance needs, we liaise with external contractors and negotiate procurement deals that achieve best value. We also provide an efficient postal service and regularly update our asset register.
